Union of two vine growers families, Fernand & Laurent PILLOT estate is farming 15 ha established in Côte de Beaune. Vineyards mainly located in Chassagne-Montrachet and Pommard allows the fourth and recently the fifth generation to work with both white and red grapes.
Respect of the vine and of the terroir is a priority in the Pillots family. That is why the winery is engaged since 2010 in an ecological process: Ecophyto. We are not using anymore weed killer and we are working to get the label “Haute valeur environnemental”.
Traditional methods with a touch of modernity allow us to express the “terroir” in our wines. Wines are aged from 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels. All the work done in the vineyards during the season helps to grow the wine with a minimum of intervention and makes the terroir to speak out. A family of hands-on winemakers!
