Laurence – the daughter of Jacques and Marie-Josephe Gagnard – and Richard – after a successful career in the air force – founded the domain in 1985 with passion and enthusiasm.
We operate 12 hectares of vines, most of which are located in Chassagne-Montrachet, plus some parcels in Volnay and Pommard.
Celine joined the domain in 2007 and works hard to increase her experience by following the same values.
During all the year we work in the vineyards in order to give the best quality at the harvest (complete ploughing, analyses of the soil, reasoned culture…).
Our goal is to obtain the best sanitary condition of grapes, in order to give the maximum of plant materials (tanins, colour, aromas…) and purity.
Our winemaking methods are traditional (fermentation using natural yeasts, ageing in oak barrels between 12 and 18 months) and identical for each cuvee in order to enhance the typicity of the terroirs. The new oak varies between 0 to 30%, depending on the level of appellation.
